Pauline Holmes Goes to The Dogs

Do we benefit from having dogs share our lives?

Pauline Holmes thinks so, as does over 30% of the UK population who own a dog.
This poetry show is unashamedly aimed at dog lovers, celebrating stolen slippers, recall rebels and kind companions.
A witty, and at times touching account of Pauline’s relationship with the dogs in her life, past and present. This show is about love, loss and adapting to change.

WARNING
Watching this show may make you want to run home and snog your dogs. At least, that's what Pauline hopes will happen.

THE LION QUEEN

The Lion Queen is a verse play written as a series of dramatic poetic monologues.

It's based on the true story of Ellen Blight, a Victorian teenage lion tamer and told from the point of view of some who knew her or witnessed her demise.
All the anecdotes in the play are true, though some timelines have been blurred for dramatic purposes.
A dark, gentle humour occasionally laces its way through this tale of love, loss, greed and blame.
But, who was to blame for the death of Ellen Blight?
That will be for the audience to decide.
